Fresh figs and pecan pie

pinit

This year our little fig tree surprised us a lot. It was full of fruit several times a season. Our little baby loved to eat them, from a branch, every time she was barely limping around it. And a few desserts were made too. The first fig pie was made, inspired by the best apple pie ever, my mom’s apple pie!

    • In a few turns of the chopper, make a compact dough, just to combine the ingredients
    • Remove the formed ball of dough, cover with non-stick foil and place in the refrigerator, 30 min
    • Meanwhile, clean and wash the figs, cut them into quarters
    • Coarsely chop the pecan nuts. Of course you can use any nuts.

    • Sprinkle with sliced roasted walnuts
    • Grate the rest of the dough (1/3) on the coarse side of the grater directly on the figs
    • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 30 minutes, until golden brown
    • Serve with figs :)
